Hole Description:
The Classy Sassy Lady. I would so name this par three because it is elegant in its design and sassy in its disdain for those who try to approach it. It is guarded by a massive bunker right, and massive hog back in the back left and a drop off like no other long. The hole is set at the highest point on the course and thus receives some of the strongest winds you encounter all day. The wind is generally blowing from the right to the left and into you a bit which tends to push you into the trap or cause you to come up short. Every day you play this hole you need to think about your club selection as it will vary as much as 3 full clubs based on the wind.
Tee Shot Tips:
The center of the green and a bit left of center is perhaps your best target line.
Landing Zone Tips:
The green is very receptive and fair and can be attacked in most pin locations. However, you really do not want to land left of the hog back left in most cases as it can be tough to putt over or down.
Putting Tips:
If you are below the hole and up front, you can be fairly aggressive as the putts as moderate to slow. However, the green can be tricky to read from center to back right as there is a slight downward taper that looks like an uphill putt from behind the green looking back to the tee, and downhill from the center looking back. It is in fact slightly downhill and easy to putt long if you don’t take a double look.
