Cart Rules: For the beauty and upkeep of the course, we ask all golfers to keep the carts out of the long grass and at least 10 yards from each green. Do not drive the carts on the tee boxes. Drive the carts along the edge of the fairway when possible to protect the landing zone conditions. If it is raining, use the 90 degree rule. Drive responsibly as you are responsible for your cart while it is in your possession.
Dress Code: While Calderone does not have a specific dress code, we ask that everyone wear shirts, pants or shorts, and use soft spikes.
Coolers: Due to the Liquor Law requirements of the State of Michigan players are not allowed to bring any alcoholic beverage to the course. We ask you do not bring coolers to the course in keeping with this state requirement. However, you may purchase beer, soda, and sports drinks at the clubhouse, and Calderone coolers are available to keep your drinks cold.
Pace of Play: While there is no set rule for how fast you must complete your round, we ask that you keep up with the group in front of you or allow other groups behind you play through.
Safety: For the safety of every golfer, we ask everyone to exercise patience as they tee off. Do not tee off when the group in front of you is within your range. Be aware that on holes one, five and seven you have a blind tee shot and there may be golfers just over a hill. So, take extra caution to allow extra time on those holes.
Rain Checks: Calderone provides rain checks if your round rained out. If you have completed more than 9 holes of your 18 hole round, then a 9-hole rain check would be given. If you have completed more than five holes of any given nine holes, that portion of the round is considered complete.
Offensive Behavior: Calderone Golf Club reserves the right to ask any player to end their round and exit the premises for any form of rude, drunken, aggressive, destructive or irresponsible behavior.
